- advising two international financial institutions (the Washington based International Finance Corporation, the investment entity of the World Bank, and a major European multilateral financial institution) in their acquisition of a strategic pre-privatization equity interest in Banca Comerciala Romana for 222 million USD;
- advising Advent International (a major US based private equity fund) in connection with the auction sale of a leading Romanian pharmaceutical company for 331 million USD;
- advising Advent International in connection with an LBO of a leading Romanian pharmaceutical company, the first such leveraged buyout in Romania;
- advising numerous American companies in Romania, including Microsoft, United Technologies Corporation, Clear Channel, Baker Hughes, Lufkin, Procter & Gamble, GE, Colgate.
