The Public Procurement and Structural Funds Committee promotes a clear, stable and predictable public procurement legislation, transparent acquisition procedures, and improved absorption of the EU funds.
In the works of the committee, AmCham keeps a close contact with ANRMAP and CNSC, organizing meetings and events with representatives of the two authorities and providing feedback on pieces of legislation and procedures where the business community sees room for improvement.
The elaboration of a dedicated, efficient, EU compliant PPP legislation in Romania, together with aligning and coordinating the private and public sectors in their efforts to improve the EU funds absorption are the current priorities of the committee.
