Deloitte is pleased to announce that Alin Chitu has joined its Corporate Tax team as Director. His comeback to the firm where he started his career few years ago comes on the back of a continuously increased activity of the tax practice which led to a strong 150-team and the promotion of two new directors this year alone.
Alin has started his career journey as a tax consultant in 2005 and during the past four years he has been a Partner with Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii where he successfully developed the law firm’s tax practice. He also worked for a few years with another Big 4 consultancy firm.

Alin specializes in corporate tax matters, covering a broad range of international and domestic taxation, as well as various transaction implications. He is a respected advisor in the market and held a few other roles including working for the World Bank as local expert. Alin has been a board member and supervisory board member in several companies, being actively involved in complex M&A and due diligence projects over the years.
