Edelweiss Classical Celebrations Dinner

Following on from last year’s successful Grand Opera Dinner, the main fundraising event this year of HOSPICE Casa Sperantei will be a “Classical Celebrations Dinner” that will feature some outstanding Romanian classical artists. The event will again be held in the fabulous setting of Cercul Militar Palace on 4th November.

Marius Mihalache, one of the best known Romanian cymbal players, will be performing during the event. Acknowledged for his originality in playing various jazz, jazz-rock, ethno-jazz and folklore scores on cymbal, the musician successfully managed to impose cymbal even in grand classical music orchestras.

As last year, the format of the evening will be a champagne reception, a 3 course dinner with wine, some unforgettable live classical music, and a live and silent auction.

HOSPICE Casa Speranței is a non-profit organisation, established in Brasov in 1992. Its founder, Graham Perolls, introduced the concept of palliative care (based on the UK hospice model) to  Romania. HOSPICE Casa Speranţei is a member of the Hospices of Hope Network and is the largest organisation in the country providing free specialist palliative care services.
