ONV LAW promotes 3 to newly created Managing Associate role, covering all 3 legal departments of the firm.

ONV LAW introduced the new role with the appointment of Sînziana Bărbieru, Cătălina Lazăr and Magda Barbu-Preda as Managing Associates.

Sînziana Bărbieru specialises in public procurement – concessions – PPP, administrative law, construction and energy law.

Cătălina Lazăr has a wide experience in corporate matters – commercial, mergers & acquisitions, tax law, as well as IP – media, labour law, telecoms and insolvency.

Magda Barbu-Preda specialises in aviation law, competition law, real estate, administrative law and medical law.

An integral part of lawyer development at ONV LAW is coaching and mentorship. The Managing Associates will work closely with the Partners to develop strategically important practice areas, grow their teams and take an active role in people management.
