After the Annual General Meeting and elections at the end of March, AmCham Romania is pleased to announce the members of the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 mandate, as follows:

Valeriu Nistor, the new President of AmCham Romania stated: “It is a great privilege for me to serve as AmCham President during AmCham’s 20th year of activity in Romania. The rich AmCham heritage compels me and my fellow Board members to continue building AmCham’s reputation as a leading voice of the business community and increasing the value to its members. I would like to thank my predecessors for their dedication to AmCham and to ensure our members and partners that the new team is committed to AmCham’s values and agenda of making Romania a better home for business.”
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, AmCham Romania launched a fresh visual identity and has designed special events and activities to mark this celebration throughout 2013.
AmCham looks forward to continuing its relationships with the relevant authorities and providing recommendations and solutions by focusing on priorities that AmCham has identified for Romania: increased economic competitiveness, progress in the fight against corruption, observance of the public consultations mechanism in place, Romania’s priorities for the next tranche of EU funds 2014-2020.
