Ernst & Young Romania started this spring’s recruitment campaign, through which 50 young graduates across the country will be hired. The whole process will run for two months - during this time, graduates can apply online, accessing the link: http://www.ey.com/RO/en/Careers

Furthermore, candidates interested in a position with the company can interact directly with the recruitment team and with Ernst & Young specialists during over 10 university events and job fairs in Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi and Chisinau. The selection process will include interviews with managers in each department, as well as a series of specific tests, function to the service-line that candidates apply to. During the selection process, candidates will be assessed regarding their language skills (English), their verbal and numerical skills, and also technical knowledge.

The 50 juniors who will be selected this spring will begin their activity in September, when they will join the 500 employees who are part of the Ernst & Young team, in 5 offices in Romania and Moldova. Most of the new hires will join the Assurance department, as well as the Tax & Legal, Transactions, and Advisory departments.

The majority of young people applying for a job at Ernst & Young motivate their choice by the fact that they are able to work in multidisciplinary teams, with access to global resources and best practices. Moreover, they value the opportunity of participating in international certified programs such as ACCA, ACA, CFA that Ernst & Young provides for new employees.

The company thus spends an average of 3,000 Euro for training each employee. This investment is reflected in the exceptional national and international results that Ernst & Young professionals obtain at the examination for various certifications. For example, during the ACCA examination session in December 2012, Ernst & Young students occupied the top positions in the national rankings and the 7th and11th position respectively in the international top for this exam.

"For Ernst & Young, the junior and young graduates recruitment campaign represents, each year, the peak season when we are present in universities, interacting with students in the academic environment and promoting partnerships with student associations.
We are pleased to start this recruitment campaign, as we are making long-term investments in the future of the new generation of graduates and we are striving to identify young people whose professional and personal skills and aspirations will contribute to the company and to the business community. We strongly believe in our motto: << Whenever you join, however long you stay, the exceptional experience of Ernst & Young will last a lifetime >>. Thus, the exceptional things you experience here will stand as a reference point throughout your entire career." says Alexandra Bebu, Human Resources Director, Ernst & Young Romania.
Over 1,000 candidates applied in last spring’s recruitment campaign, 67 out of whom were selected for joining Ernst & Young in Romania.
