The new Brand of Happy Kids: “Transylvania College”

by Transylvania College February 22, 2013

We are pleased to announce that Happy Kids Foundation launched a new brand, thus becoming “Transylvania College” Foundation.

Under the umbrella of Transylvania College foundation, two educational institutions function: Happy Kids Kindergarten Cluj and “Transylvania College. The Cambridge International School in Cluj” - former “International School of Cluj”.

Transylvania College is the only school outside Bucharest that is accredited to offer both the Romanian Curriculum and the Cambridge (CIE) curriculum. It is the only school in Transylvania that offers a complete educational track, from nursery through high school. Families from 27 countries, from around the world, have chosen Transylvania College for the education it provides at international standards.

The school’s curriculum and philosophy focus on educating knowledgeable, creative, tolerant, participative and environmentally alert young people who can go on to become successful global citizens of the postmodern world. The fact that many subjects are taught by native English speakers, together with the fact that they have classmates from other countries, provide the students with a true multicultural learning environment.

We are delighted to announce that in January 2013, Transylvania College became regional member of the prestigious international organization, “Round Square Schools”. We are extremely proud that our school received regional membership of this prestigious association of schools that share a commitment beyond academic excellence, to personal development and responsibility through service, international understanding, challenge, adventure, democracy, and environmental stewardship - the philosophical pillars of this renowned organization.

This membership honors us, especially since we are the first Eastern European “Round Square” school out of only 20 elite schools in Europe and about eighty schools across the world.
