SIVECO Romania is the only Romanian company developing projects for important organizations of the European Union, projects whose multiannual value exceeds 10 million Euro.

Two years ago, SIVECO Romania has concluded the first direct contracts with the Publications Office of the European Union, for maintenance and development of the IT systems of the CORDIS portal – the portal of European research. The portal is the the gateway to the European research programs funded by the European Commission, has three million pages accessed and 500,000 documents downloaded every month.
Within two contracts recently launched into operation, SIVECO Romania and Sword Technologies Luxembourg provide the Publications Office of the European Union with software development and maintenance services for various IT applications. The Publications Office publishes the Official Journal daily in the 23 official languages of the European Union — a unique phenomenon in the publishing world.
SIVECO is part of a contract with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), headquartered in Germany, for software services for collaborative applications for documents, records and workflows management. EASA is the key institution of the European Union responsible for the aviation safety strategy.
In collaboration with Abaco Italy, SIVECO is running a project for Eurostat – the Statistics Institute of the European Union – for implementation of spatial data systems - Geographic Information Systems.
Together with Astec (Ireland), the largest Romanian software house has signed in 2011 a consultancy contract for the Jaspers program (Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions). The Program is developed by the European Commission, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, and the European Investment Fund (EIB Group). JASPERS assists the 12 Central and Eastern EU Member States and Croatia in the preparation of major projects to be submitted for grant financing under the Structural and Cohesion Funds.
Another important project developed by SIVECO is the portal Dolceta for educating the European consumers (http://www.dolceta.eu), along with the partners Adetef, Astec, Euronet Consulting and Federconsumatori. The framework contract has an estimated budget of 6 million euro and duration of 3 years. The contract has been concluded with the Executive Agency for Health and Consumers of the European Commission and its objective is the portal’s updating, development and promotion among the consumers in 27 European countries. „We are very well aligned with the project’s needs, both as vision, and from the competences point of view. We provide development of web software tools, we contribute to the evolution of IT systems and to the benefits provided to European consumers, we produce multimedia educational content and eLearning type of tools for the pupils and adults in the entire Union”, declared Stefan Morcov, deputy vice-president SIVECO Romania SA.
EuropeAid – The Cooperation Office within the European Union has received support from SIVECO Romania for the development of geographical information systems (GIS). The EuropeAid Co-operation Office (EuropeAid) is the centre of management expertise for all Community development co-operation (excluding humanitarian assistance). EuropeAid is responsible for all phases of the project cycle (design, financing decisions, implementation, monitoring and evaluation). It ensures that Community aid is implemented effectively, maintains quality standards and is responsible for promoting sound financial and contract management.
