On Tuesday, 22 November 2011, Clifford Chance Badea organised a roundtable themed "Using the Internet at the workplace" for representatives of major international and local corporates.
Mara Moga-Paler, Associate, Mihalea Mindru, Senior Associate Clifford Chance Badea and Anca Podoleanu, Executive Manager of HR Club led the discussions which focused on the rights and duties of employees as well as the risks to which employers are exposed and the specific data protection requirements in relation with the employees' use of social networks, e-mail and Internet. International case law and practical solutions were also presented.
The event was attended by representatives of corporates and banks such as ING Bank, UniCredit, BRD Societe Generale, Samsung, Siemens, Bergenbier, Cora, Colgate-Palmolive, Ernst & Young, Gebruder Weiss, JT International, Alpha Consult.
