NNDKP Honours Alcatel-Lucent

Continuing a seven year tradition, the law firm of Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) granted the “Special NNDKP Award”, dedicated to companies distinguished by long term strategic vision, by support for and responsibility towards the essential values of the community and by the sustainable development model offered. In the spirit of the annual tradition, the award was granted during the ceremony organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Timiș that acknowledged the most performing local companies, “Timis County’s Top Companies”. At this year’s edition of the event, the “Special NNDKP Award” was granted to Alcatel-Lucent.
“Further to a rigorous research, NNDKP team noticed the visionary and consistent way in which Alcatel-Lucent is involved in the training of future experts in communications, by means of specific training programs provided to students within the Polytechnic University in Timișoara and within the company itself. Alcatel-Lucent proved to be a constant partner of technical studies in Banat and thus contributed to ensuring the highly specialized manpower needed by the industry specific to the region”, stated Eva Forika, head of NNDKP’s Timișoara office, explaining the selection criteria for the award.
“We note that, in several fields, the recent graduates are lacking the practical perspective and the opportunity of a targeted specialization that would allow them to assess the skills and interests that would be relevant to their profession and that would also enhance their attractiveness towards employers. We strongly believe that these training programs add value and consolidate the opportunities for both students and companies. NNDKP itself implemented such programs for law students in Bucharest, Timișoara, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca and Craiova and we value companies who, like us, build bridges between theory and practice”, believes Adriana Ioana Gaspar, one of NNDKP’s senior partners.
The gala for awarding the distinctions to the most performing companies at the local level is one of the most prestigious events in Timișoara, reuniting annually over 600 representatives of the public administration and business community in Timiș county.
