The International School of Cluj has been designated to be a pilot school for the state education, within a project of the Ministry of Education in Romania.
Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Oana Badea, stated during her visit at our school on Thursday, 20th of October:
"Private education in Romania can be an example for the state, especially what happens at the International School of Cluj. Construction elements of the school system will be piloted in state educational facilities in Romania. Some ideas can be taken as best practice and used in the state education system too, such as organization, vision and terms of management of the school. "
Secretary of State, Ms. Oana Badea, visited our school together with 110 school inspectors, within a national conference for inspectors, which took place October 20 in Cluj.
The management team of our school, led by Director Julian Hingley, presented the guests all those aspects that make the International School of Cluj successful. The inspectors’ visit ended on a very optimistic note, the Secretary of State expressing her desire to implement some innovative programs and methods that are successfully implemented in our school, in at least two schools from each county in Romania.
The fact that the International School of Cluj thus becomes a pilot school for public schools in the country honors us, makes us very proud and happy.
