Companies can support valuable young talents by sponsoring the royal concert of classical music
On October 24, 2011, with the occasion of the anniversary of His Majesty King Michael, the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation organizes the fourth edition of the charity concert, held by the famous Christian Badea and Remus Azoitei, at Romanian Athenaeum. Companies are invited to get involved in supporting the Young Talents program through sponsorship or tickets for this concert.
The concert will take place in the presence of His Majesty King Michael and of Their Royal Highnesses Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania. The program will include a special repertoire dedicated to reaching the age of 90 years by His Majesty. Internationally recognized violinist Remus Azoitei, described in The Street as a "creative virtuoso, with soul and fabulous technique", will perform along with the Philharmonic Orchestra "George Enescu", under the guidance of maestro Christian Badea. The latter is winning a Grammy and performed numerous concerts at Covent Garden, Vienna Opera and Metropolitan Opera, with collaborations with artists such as Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Yo-Yo Ma and Midori.
Based on funds raised from the concert in 2010, the Foundation has supported during this year 26 young musicians and artists through Young Talents program, with individual scholarships of 2,000 euros each, mentoring program and launching them in the future career. Young artists were selected by a special jury, composed of teachers and well known artists, elite values in areas where they operate.
