ManpowerGroup Romania released the results of its forth annual Talent Shortage Survey, revealing that 53% of employers in Romania are experiencing difficulty filling critical positions within their organizations. ManpowerGroup’s sixth annual Talent Shortage Survey reveals one in three employers worldwide is struggling to fill key vacancies.
REASONS FOR DIFFICULTY FILLING JOBS in Romania:
- Lack of experience 34%
- Lack of knowledge of business/academic disciplines/industry or formal qualifications 28%
- Looking for more pay than is offered 21%
- Lack of available applicants/no applicants 15%
- Don’t possess right values or mindset 13%
- Don’t possess the right personality and intelligence 6%
- Lack of “hard” job skills or technical skills 2%
- Lack of “soft” skills or interpersonal/communication skills 2%
Strategies used to overcome talent shortage in Romania:
- Providing additional training and development to exisiting staff 24%
