On the occasion of the European Week of SMEs, the Center for Executive Education and Development (CEED Romania) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) are announcing the partial results of the Top Class project – education and mentorship for entrepreneurs in the Bucharest-Ilfov area, co-financed by the EU through FSE – AMPOSDRU.
Launched in September 2009, to present Top Class activities have reached more than 600 persons, out of a target group of 800. Top Class has been promoted to CEED Romania partners, AmCham Romania members, through SMEs and entrepreneurs dedicated portals and events.
Top Class participants benefit of free access to business management classes, certified by CNFPA, and open classes attended in accordance with the training needs of the participants, and delivered by authorized trainers within the CEED Network. Moreover, the participants, as well as all interested persons can join networking learning events and seminars led by experienced mentors from among AmCham members. All Top Class activities also represent a good networking platform for the participants.
„We are pleased that the Top Class education offer has raised the interest of many young entrepreneurs, as our goal is to assist them in improving their management skills and to encourage the entrepreneurial initiatives. The advantage of the Top Class project consists in the successful combination of the theoretical section with the practical one, through the business management classes and mentorship activities. We trust that Top Class along with other similar projects will eventually contribute to strengthening the SMEs sector in Romania” said Cristina Mănescu, Top Class Project Manager.
Top Class activities will end in September 2010. Upcoming Top Class activities are included in the partners’ web pages at www.ceed-romania.org and www.amcham.ro.
The project is implemented by the Center for Economic Education and Development (CEED) – authorized training supplier with a wide experience in delivering learning sessions, as main partner, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania), professional association representing the business interests of its more than 300 members – American, international and local businesses.
