The members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) have elected a new Board of Directors during the Annual General Meeting on March 26, 2009. Following the elections, the Board of Directors elected Mr. Sorin Mindrutescu (Country Leader – Oracle Romania ) as the new President of AmCham Romania.
The new AmCham Romania Board of Directors consists of Sorin Mindrutescu, Oracle Romania – President, Anda Todor, Salans – Vice-President, Cristian Colteanu, GE – Vice-President, Shahmir Khaliq, Citibank Europe plc – Treasurer, Bill Bowman – KPMG, Radu Enache – HP, Manuela Nestor- NNDKP, Marius Persinariu – XEROX, Ionut Simion – PricewaterhouseCoopers, Calin Tatomir – Microsoft and Mihai Tudor – IBM, as Board Members.
The new Audit Committee consists of Florentina Grigore, Scot&Company Consulting, Serge Gonvers, Audiconsult and Vlad Icodin of Topmovers.
AmCham would like to thank its members for their wide participation at the Annual General Meeting and for expressing their votes for the 2009 elections.
Following the first meeting of the newly elected Board, AmCham will announce the new committee chairs.
