This database is aimed to identify and evaluate best practice energy and environment projects, products and installations realized by AmCham Romania members in order to set up an efficient tool for knowledge and performance dissemination and to collect information that will allow to analyze the relationship between existing regulations, benchmarks, barriers and the quality of the achievements on the Romanian market.
Main purpose of the database is:
• To provide reliable information on the high energy efficiency and low CO2 emissions achieved by the projects, products and installations made by AmCham members.
• To show the broad range of possible application areas for sustainable and renewable technologies accomplished by AmCham members’ projects.
• To reveal the regional differences regarding technical approach, climate, geology, electricity mix, energy prices etc. and their influence on energy efficiency, economic competitiveness and environmental behavior in Romania.
• To create reliable and complete sources for AmCham strategy on energy and environment.
• To form the basis for setting up AmCham recommendations for a successful design, installation and operation of energy and environment applications towards Romanian authorities.
• To reveal the real weak/strong aspects in energy and environment domains that have to be pointed by AmCham to Romanian authorities.
This activity is designed to demonstrate the benefits of AmCham members projects, products and installations concerning primary energy saving, the use of renewable energy and CO2 emission reduction and thereby encouraging the market penetration of new technologies in Romania.
